Welcome to the website of the campaign to save Merrylee Nursery. We are a group of concerned parents and friends who have formed the Merrylee Nursery Parents' Forum. We hope that you enjoy visiting our site and learning about our campaign. If you would like to support our children please get in touch using the contact form.

Our children are very happy at Merrylee Nursery where there is a real sense of community and excellent education in a teacher-led environment. The parents really appreciate the hard work and dedication of all the staff and wish to preserve the close links between children and teachers. The council proposals threaten this valued relationship and we feel they do not benefit anyone involved in the proposed merger. Our group is actively campaigning to oppose the proposed merger with Limetree Day Nursery (Holmlea Day Nursery) and we hope you will help us.

Why should you care?

Children are our future. Merrylee pupils are happy and well balanced and benefit from the best possible educational start thanks to the wonderful staff at their nursery. Please help us to help them maximise their full potential and preserve this invaluable service for those to come.
